Princess

The other day I was eating lunch with my racquetball pal and we somehow got to talking about our wives and he really challenged me. He asked me how I view my wife and we dialogued about that for a little while and he then said what if you viewed your wife like a princess that God has entrusted you with instead of viewing her as that last mistake or argument. I was challenged by this and that day I went home and did some house cleaning, I heard my wife mention that her coat zipper broke so I went and bought her a new winter coat with a scarf and gloves, I then got a baby sitter and took her to a dinner and movie with some friends. Our marriage was not by any means troubled but we sure are having a lot more fun now that I have been more intentional about what I do and how I treat my Princess. What can you do for what God has entrusted you with today?

Blessings,

Zac

Dang Dude. That's a great way to think of it. Just as women have always meeting that knight on a white horse, what guy didn't grow up imagining rescuing a princess and being her hero? Pepper truly is a princess sent to me by God, but, I often don't take the time to show her the chivalry of the knight that she deserves.

Thanks for waking me up and challenging me with your words Zach.
