CREATIVELY, I have always wavered in my routine/time I spend in the Word of God. Though I try to open the Word daily I struggle not only to do that but to get the most out of it when I actually do. Over the past few weeks I have started a brand new process for me and that is writing the WORD of God or I should say copying the Word of God. This has been TREMENDOUSLY helpful in not only getting into the Word of God but getting the most out of it when I am in it. Over a period of time of doing this I will have Copied/hand written the entire word of God and how awesome will it be one day when I am able to hand my son a bible that I have hand written. This has helped me in an awesome way, what are some things you are doing to get into the word of God.

This summer, I will be doing something similar to your project.
I believe that while all Scripture is worthy of knowing well, the actual words spoken by Jesus are to be placed above the others and are truly necessary. We are responsible for knowing everything that Jesus said.
In turn, my project for the summer will be to go through the New Testament and handwrite all of the red letters. After that is done, I will work on memorizing them for the rest of my life.
