WELCOME HOME...

This morning was AMAZING as the troops from Iraq came home. It was amazing to see the support of our community as the troops rolled back into town. The streets were lined with men, women, and children holding flags and cheering for our soldiers. THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS....

Wings...

Last night I went to Applebees with my H2O team. I have ate the wings there before and loved them. Last night I made a crucial error when I ordered "boneless". It may sound easier, not as messy and as though there is more meat and even though every one of these statements may be true I will have to say the get a big 0 for their taste factor. There is just something about diving into a buffalo wing with the bone in it and knowing you will need 20 napkins. I let wing eaters around the world down last night and I vow I will never make that mistake again. It is funny though how I do that in my spiritual walk. I sometimes take the easy road "I can put that off till later, I can call them back later, I can talk to God anytime why do I need to right now, and even though these things may seem easy I am trading what God has intended for me for what a moment of rest. I want to be messy for God "I am not sure what I mean by that" and do what He tells me to do. What is God calling me to do today.

Let the Blogging begin...

I am back and more ready than ever to Blog... Wuz up in my life... My house is still unfinished, I still need to sell a car and a motorcycle, the church is rocking forward, we are in search of a new Youth Pastor, my boy Ayden is growing more and more every day, the new baby is slowly growing in the belly of Callie. That is where I am at and I am excited to see how God can move in each of these areas of my life. I will be blogging on a regular basis now and just sharing what is going on...

WELCOME SEPTEMBER...

Well, Thank God September is here and August is gone. If you haven't noticed it has been 1 and 1/2 months since my last blog... A lot of craziness but I thank God for today because now we are moving forward. Last weekend we started to become laser focused in our ministry with Kids, Youth, Wknd Experience, Missions and Lifegroups. We started with kids and last weekend we saw 99 in our childrens areas. PRAISE GOD. He has blessed because we have been faithful. We will continue that same faithfulness in our 5 areas of focus. That is what God has called us to and that is where we are going...

Blessings,

Zac

LIFE...

This tends to be a problem of mine and I thought I had a handle on it... Then this past Monday I hit a wall, metaphorically speaking. I wore myself out with too many late nights and early mornings. I think we all do that to an extent, but man I remember when I was a waiter and when I went home I did not constantly think about the people that I waited on I just did STUFF... Now I go home and constantly think about the people and what I am doing that is not enough or how what I am doing and how I could be doing it better. I am making a stand though, today I will go home shut my mind down, have fun with my family, kiss my wife and go to bed early... Have an awesome day...

Peace Out,

The Best Trip Ever...

Okay today I am meeting with my wife and we are going to TURNER FALLS. This will be fun, I think. Last week we went to the zoo and had a good time with Ayden. I am looking for awesome ideas to take my Family to for like a day just to have fun. I get so busy and distracted that I have forgot to have fun with my family many times and I am trying to be better at it. So I need your help, give me some ideas on where to go and what to do.

River Trip...

Okay, I've been a bad blogger and I am sorry. I have been bogged down. Here is some news of Zac. This past Friday myself and some guys from the church went to the South Canadian River and set out trotlines and rode 4-wheelers. It was a blast but when I got to the church on Sunday a "so called friend" Matt Gayler "who was laughing" told me about the article in the Sunday paper that warned people to stay away from the South Canadian due to contamination from sewage and farm chemical runoff. It was probably mental but I started feeling sick and after I told Steve he began to feel sick as well. The moral of this story: "Stay away from poop and chemical infested waters" I guess that means we can't swim at wintersmith pool either.

Peace,

Zac
