Okay this past week our family went through quite the transition and when the dust settled all that was different was a goat. Of course I have already mentioned the goat thing in a previous post so all I am going to talk about now is the dog. A week ago my wife passed on the opportunity to get a free shih tzu registered puppy. I asked her what she was thinking and she said that we did not need a dog. I could not agree more I said but we could have sold that sucka. 1 day later I got word that the dog was still available and I snagged it up. Callie came and picked it up and I was going to post it on Craigslist that evening, unfortunatley by the time I got home Callie was already attached, Crap. After two short days of it craping and peeing all over the floor "THANK GOD FOR CONCRETE FLOORS" she was ready to give it away. So finally I got to put it on the "LIST" and it sold the next day for $200. Dave Ramsey is challenging me in so many ways financially and I will be debt free soon... Have an awesome day.

Raquetball and beer.
The other day I was not feeling really good by any means but I was really craving a Root Beer and so I got one and downed it pretty quick. Right after that I played a hardcore game of cutthroat raquetball and immediatly afterwards I threw up all over the parking lot. I share that not for spiritual insight or anything like that I simply share that to let you know that root beer feels really weird coming out of the nose. Be Blessed.

I bought a Goat...
Okay yesterday I bought a nice little Pygmy Goat. This may turn out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life but I am hoping that it will keep me from mowing my back yard this summer. It was only twenty bucks and it feeds itself. Our dog in the backyard is lonely so hopefully this will also work out nicely for him. I just feel there is something that I am missing, something in the pit of my stomach tells me I am going to regret this purchase but I guess only time will tell.

DEBT FREE...
Okay not yet but I am working that way. I have been moved in awesome ways by Dave Ramsey and his challenge to be a great steward of what God has put in my hands. As of today I am restarting my posting of the daily Proverb, Dave says read one daily and I have gotten away from that in my blog but it is returning with vengeance today. My wife and I are selling our vehicles and I am Ebaying all of my junk "Bose sound system, guitar, video game systems, and maybe the dog I am not sure yet". I will keep you updated.....

Back in the saddle...
Hey guys I am back and ready to go... I actually am still a little under the weather "FLU" but I got stir crazy at home and had to get in the office. This past week I buried a friend of mine that graduated out of my youth ministry. He passed away at 22 years of age and will be sorely missed. He knew the Lord though and is in Heaven and that just simply ROCKS... This was my first official funeral and I have to admit it was tough but at the same time I was excited about it because he was a friend and I knew Jesus was his Lord and Savior. I also married a couple last Saturday, man this pastor thing is kinda surreal, I love it though. Well it is rainy and cloudy in Ada today but hopefully it clears up tomorrow because I am suppose to take the family to the Zoo... Have an awesome day.

In The Blink Of An Eye...
This weekend the worship band was leading in the song "in the blink of an eye". This was an awesome song because I spent most of the weekend with a young man and his family as they went through surgery to repair his broken femur and his severly cut legs. I was thinking how it is just a moment away and I don't even have to have anything to do with it. It could be just someone going the wrong way in my lane of traffic and it is over. I asked myself am I doing what matters while I still have time here on this earth. I know this will be an ongoing thought with me this week but I just thought I would share. Also here is todays Proverbs, I am a little behind...

Dang Pride...
During this message series I have been trying to step up what I have been doing as a husband, attempting to be more intentional. This weekend I was working on the old house up to about 1:00am and I looked at my wife and was like "I AM DONE" I proceeded to walk away shower up and climb into bed. I knew this was not going to make her happy but I had been working on that house all day and at that moment did not care a whole lot. Later as I was laying there Callie leaned over and apologized for working me so hard. I AM A JERK, she did nothing wrong and yet was apologizing, me on the other hand. I was a jerk and rude and could not apologize, dang pride. We "hugged", seriously just hugged, I was stinkin tired and then we went to sleep. I encourage you, whoever you are, to heal a hurt today. If you need to go to someone that you have hurt and apologize then do it. It will honor that person but more importantly it will honor God.
