UNITY...

This morning I got to meet with pastors from 5 different church's and even better denominations this morning for prayer and discussion about a new ministry we are starting TOGETHER. The name of this ministry is 1 ministry and we are working together to bring Feed The Children into Ada. November 20th we will give out enough food for for 1600 meals along with blankets, hygiene packs, and toys. I am excited to see our people at H2OAda.tv serve along side others from different churches in our community. I encourage all of us to search out ways to create UNITY in our lives. Maybe it is at your work, your church, your school or even your marriage.

KRAZY...

Last night was our Fall Festival and it was awesome. The church reserved Cornerstone Kids Ranch for our activities. This place was amazing, they had petting zoos, huge inflatables, petting zoo, adult tri-cycle races, a giant swing and awesome hayrides. This was a awesome connection event for our people we had well over 200 show up and it was amazing just seeing people connect and do Life together. I thank God every day that I am a part of this amazing ministry. God Is Good, All The Time...

Fall Cleaning...

Man I spent all day yesterday working in the yard. I have been remodeling my house and it has been the experience of a lifetime. I am not going to whether that is a positive one or not. Yesterday though I paid the price of putting things off. I spent 7 hours in my backyard hauling off scraps and trash from the remodel. It was real easy to just throw it out the back door but the day came when I had to deal with it and it was no fun. It would have been easier if I had just taken care of the mess each time it happened. I think we do that a lot in our lives though, I see a problem and I just hide it in the backyard but one day I am going to have to deal with it and it is going to be a much bigger deal than if I would just deal with it today. What struggles are we facing today, lets face them head on and not just sweep them under the rug...

New Life...

Today I was amazed by the opportunity to hear my new babies heartbeat. Callie is 16 weeks pregnant and I am excited to find out what we are having. This is one area where I think about God's creation and am utterly amazed. Tonight I was laying in bed and before we put Ayden in his crib he hung out with us in our bed and played I am looking forward to having two little ones crawling all over me.

LOSE THIS...

Okay I am in the beginning of a "BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE" among the H2O Staff. I got on the scales and realized I was fatty mcbutterpants and needed to lose some weight. My goal is 40pounds and I am doing whatever it takes. I have been going at it for one day and I have not seen a difference yet. I did lose 2 pounds though, but I also went to the bathroom so who knows. I am slowly eating the oatmeal next to me and thinking of the turkey lettuce wrap I will eat for lunch and the chicken I will grill tonight for dinner and thinking I have a chance to kick some major tail in this challenge. I am also throwing in some major running and possibly liposuction... I WILL WIN... CHALLENGE ON... I HATE OATMEAL "kinda like swallowing a lugi"...

Lovin "LIFE"

Last night we went to LifeGroup and had an awesome time. I naturally try to think of excuses why not to go to LifeGroup but my wife always talks me into it. I know that I always have an awesome time I just have so much going on Sundays that I just get real wore out, but every time I go I have an awesome time. Last night life group got crazy and it was fun. We ate some home-made pizza and talked about the message from the morning. If you are not part of a LifeGroup of some sort I encourage you to plug in...

WELCOME HOME...

This morning was AMAZING as the troops from Iraq came home. It was amazing to see the support of our community as the troops rolled back into town. The streets were lined with men, women, and children holding flags and cheering for our soldiers. THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR SOLDIERS....

Wings...

Last night I went to Applebees with my H2O team. I have ate the wings there before and loved them. Last night I made a crucial error when I ordered "boneless". It may sound easier, not as messy and as though there is more meat and even though every one of these statements may be true I will have to say the get a big 0 for their taste factor. There is just something about diving into a buffalo wing with the bone in it and knowing you will need 20 napkins. I let wing eaters around the world down last night and I vow I will never make that mistake again. It is funny though how I do that in my spiritual walk. I sometimes take the easy road "I can put that off till later, I can call them back later, I can talk to God anytime why do I need to right now, and even though these things may seem easy I am trading what God has intended for me for what a moment of rest. I want to be messy for God "I am not sure what I mean by that" and do what He tells me to do. What is God calling me to do today.

Let the Blogging begin...

I am back and more ready than ever to Blog... Wuz up in my life... My house is still unfinished, I still need to sell a car and a motorcycle, the church is rocking forward, we are in search of a new Youth Pastor, my boy Ayden is growing more and more every day, the new baby is slowly growing in the belly of Callie. That is where I am at and I am excited to see how God can move in each of these areas of my life. I will be blogging on a regular basis now and just sharing what is going on...
